TCC Spring Job Fair to showcase more than 80 area employers

More than 80 area employers will be represented at the Tidewater Community College Job Fair on April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Joint-Use Library on TCC’s Virginia Beach Campus.

The job fair will offer information on career positions, internships and part-time job opportunities. Under one roof, representatives will gather to meet job seekers, share information and make connections.

The fair is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to dress for success and bring multiple copies of their resumes. No pre-registration is required.

Among the employers represented will be Bayview Physicians Services, General Dynamics, Lowe’s, USA Living, Virginia Beach EMS and World Financial Group.

The fair includes a meet-and-greet showcase, enabling participants to meet with staffers from a variety of TCC divisions including the Center for Military and Veterans Education, Workforce Solutions, Work Readiness Assistance Program, TCC Alumni and the Southeast Maritime and Transportation (SMART) Center.

In addition, review your resume and sharpen interview skills by meeting with career services professionals in the Work Readiness Assistance Program office, located in the library, first floor, room L117.
