Local artist to exhibit at TCC’s Visual Arts Center

“Stopping & Starting” features paintings and drawings by Williamsburg artist John Lee, an assistant professor of painting at the College of William & Mary.
Lee is a second-generation painter inspired by the world around him. He is able to find something interesting in the drabbest of places and recreates his perceptions into luminous, imaginative and expressive works that include interiors, still lifes and portraits. Lee will display approximately 45 works of varying sizes that possess rhythmic compositions, unique color relationships and varied light sources.
