Applying for financial aid for spring or summer classes at TCC? Here’s what you need to know

Apply now for financial aid if you’re thinking about enrolling at Tidewater Community College this spring.

Start by filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which determines your eligibility for financial aid. Complete the 2017-18 FAFSA if you plan to attend classes in spring or summer 2018.

If you plan to enroll in classes for fall 2018 or afterward, complete the 2018-19 FAFSA.

If you’re eligible for aid, TCC will send an official offer to your student email account.

Find the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. List TCC as your school of choice by using the code 003712.

Spring classes begin Jan. 8, and open registration starts on Nov. 6. View all available courses online at www.tcc.edu/schedule.

During the 2015-16 academic year, TCC disbursed more than $97 million in grants, scholarships, federal assistance and other programs. Most TCC students receive some financial assistance to make college affordable.
