TCC Theatre presents “An Evening of the Arts”

Tidewater Community College will present “An Evening of the Arts” Nov. 12 -15. All performances will be at 8 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the Chesapeake Academic Building on the Chesapeake Campus.

“An Evening of the Arts” is a variety-type show and includes eight short play scenes, two short films, produced by TCC alumni, and performances by musicians and dancers.

“This production highlights work by current TCC students and alumni, and enables us to showcase their talent and give them a little time on the stage, even if they are not theatre majors,” said Matt Gorris, assistant professor of theatre arts and the show’s director. “The show moves quickly from play scene to dancing to film to music and is very fun.”

Admission is free and the public is welcome. Seats are first come, first served.
