Have a passion for music?

In TCC’s music program you’ll learn to take risks, listen to the world around you, and begin the journey to finding your own voice. Study beginning and advanced music theory as well as music history under the guidance of faculty who provide a rich, challenging and creative environment. Specialized classrooms, practice rooms, and a piano lab are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment for you to hone your skills.

Associate of Fine Arts - Music

Gain a firm foundation in music theory and history while you enhance your performance skills in choral or instrumental ensemble groups to include classical and jazz bands. The associate degree combines music with liberal arts studies. Graduate with the foundational knowledge and skills you need to become a competitive candidate for admission to a bachelor’s degree program in music.

Career Studies Certificate - Music

Study basic musicianship, music theory and music appreciation and build confidence by joining an ensemble and performing. Students can apply all credits earned through the certificate toward the Associate of Fine Arts in Music.
